Tile Repair and Installation Services

Handyman Hub is your tile repair and installation solution! Tile installation and tile repair have gotten easier and much less expensive. You pick your preferences, and our craftsmen will handle the rest.

It wasn’t that long ago that your choice of tile was very limited and pretty expensive. Today, as a result of modern technology, you can purchase tile which may have cost $8-$10 a square foot just a few years ago for only $2-$4 a square foot today. And now, there are literally thousands of styles and patterns to choose from.

Next, you can make your tile pop by picking a complementary or contrasting color of grout to fully customize your tiling project. With more options and better affordability, you’ll certainly be sure to find the perfect tile for your new floor, kitchen backsplash, bathroom vanity or shower!

Once the tile is set, we finish the job by sealing the grout lines so they resist moisture and staining in showers, backsplashes, and other wet areas. Furthermore, tiling is an easy way to update and beautify your home space. For example, use tiles as an exterior accent, place them around your fireplace, use subway tiles on a kitchen or completely surround yourself with tile in a bathroom. For bigger overhauls, tile work like this often pairs with our bathroom remodeling services, and if only a few tiles crack or chip down the road, assuming the tile is still available, we can match and replace those pieces instead of tearing out the whole floor or wall. Options are endless and our tile installation and repair experts will help you from start to finish. We can’t wait to see what beautiful tiling choices you make for your home!

Frequently Asked Questions About Tile Repair and Installation

Do I need to replace an entire floor if only a few tiles are cracked or chipped?

Not usually. In most bathrooms and kitchens we can pull the damaged pieces, match the pattern as closely as possible, and reset new tile in that one spot. A full tear-out only makes sense when the subfloor underneath is damaged or the existing tile is discontinued and cannot be matched at all.

Can you match the grout color if I only need a small repair?

Yes. We mix grout to match your existing color and reseal the repaired area so the wet area protection is consistent with the rest of the floor or wall. If the old grout has faded, this is also a good time to reseal the whole floor so the color reads evenly.

Do I need to buy the tile myself, or does Handyman Hub supply it?

Most homeowners pick out and purchase their own tile, which keeps you from paying a contractor markup on materials. Your craftsman can pick up tile or grout for you when needed, though Handyman Hub is not a materials showroom or supplier.

Why is my tile cracking or coming loose in the first place?

It is usually a sign of a shifting subfloor, moisture behind the tile, or tile that was never set properly. Our guide on why bathroom tile floors crack walks through the most common causes, and we check for the underlying issue before repairing the surface tile.

Is tile work covered under Handyman Hub's guarantee?

Yes. Every craftsman is insured, and tile repair and installation work is backed by a one year guarantee, so if something tied to the workmanship comes loose or fails within that year, we come back and fix it at no charge.
