Do you do really small jobs like changing a light switch or changing out a faucet?
Yes, we will change out your defective light switch or, if you would like to update some of them to the new modern look with dimmers, we can do that as well.
Will I know how much my project will cost before you start? I have had craftsmen estimate 2 hours and then when it takes 4 or 5 hours they charge me twice as much.
We work by the job, not by the hour, so when we give you a price it will be for completing the job, even if it takes longer than we estimated. That way there are no surprises.
How much do you mark up the materials for my projects? I know some contractors mark them up anywhere from 20% to 40%.
At Handyman Hub, we never mark up materials. What we pay for them is exactly what you pay for them. In fact if you want to purchase some of the materials yourself that is fine with us.
Does your work have a warranty with it?
Absolutely. All of the work we do at Handyman Hub is guaranteed, in writing, for one year from the date we complete it. Call for details
Does your company carry liability insurance?
Handyman Hub carries a multi-million-dollar liability insurance policy. You should not work with anyone without liability coverage.
If I get a price from you and want to have you do the job, how long will it take to get started on my project?
In many cases, when we dispatch our craftsman to your home, he will have his tools with him and will be ready to begin work as soon as you sign the labor estimate. On larger projects we may need to schedule up the work to be done at a later date.
